10 Years Strong: Clevyr Founder Honored as Most Admired CEO

In 2009, Mr. Williamson decided to start his own software company out of a desire to craft beautiful software - that's when Clevyr was born. A short time later, he brought Tim Nix, Chief Information Officer, and Jason Post, Chief Technology Officer along for the ride. Software development has always been the core of the business and Clevyr believes the future to be filled with wider enterprise adoption of custom augmented and virtual reality experiences as well as deeper integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence into existing applications. Clevyr won awards at this year’s American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) 2020 for Online/Interactive Websites, Virtual Reality, and Augmented Reality projects.
Early during the spread of the Coronavirus in Oklahoma, after careful consideration, Mr. Williamson and other company leaders decided to transition their teams to working 100% remotely. The Clevyr remote team banded together to help the community by sharing a list of Oklahoma resources from mental health to child educational resources and created a “Donate to First Responders” button located on their Clevyr Cares Coronavirus Dashboard & Resource Center webpage. This year Clevyr was one of the progressive companies to add Juneteenth as a permanent company holiday. Juneteenth – also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Liberation Day, and Emancipation Day – is a holiday celebrating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States.
